The GAME Science Research Center is an interuniversity research center with administrative headquarters at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. Any university or other research institutions who has interests in Game Science may ask to join the GAME.SCI. RE.CENTER. The institutions that have currently joined are listed below.
IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca
The IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca is a public academic institution that acts as both a graduate school and research center that focuses on the analysis of economic, societal, technological and cultural systems.
Founded in 2005 as a public research university, the School has distinguished itself thanks to the quality and innovativeness of its research and doctoral Programs and its unique interdisciplinary nature, characterized by the complementarity of diverse methodologies derived from economics, management science, engineering, computer science, cognitive psychology, logic and science philosophy, applied mathematics, physics, political history, archaeology, art history and the analysis and management of cultural heritage.
University of Modena and Reggio Emilia
University of Modena and Reggio Emilia is one of the oldest European University, founded in 1224 by Pope Onorium III. The origin is back to 1175 when Plinio da Medicina founded in Modena a school on Giuridic based on Roman Right.
National Institute of Astrophysics
The National Institute of Astrophysics (in italian: Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF)) is an Italian research institute in astronomy and astrophysics, founded in 1999. INAF funds and operates twenty separate research facilities, which in turn employ scientists, engineers and technical staff. The research performed covers most areas of astronomy, ranging from planetary science to cosmology.
